The goal of Loma Prieta Home & School Club (LPHSC) is to promote cooperation and communication between homes, school and our greater community of Loma Prieta Elementary School by organizing fundraisers and assigning funds and services which would benefit K-5 students, faculty, and the community each school year. See our by-laws for details.
The objectives of LPHSC are to:
-Support K-5 curriculum enrichment
-Support a healthy, safe and positive school environment
-Facilitate communication between staff, parents, elementary school, middle school and the community.
Loma Prieta's 25th annual Jogathon will be held this year on Friday, May 11. This event brings together students, teachers, parents and community to show school spirit, celebrate fitness and share in a day of great fun. Click here or on the image above for more information!

Loma Prieta/CT School Directory
The Loma Prieta/CT School Directory is being offered in three formats this year: 1) Smartphone App, 2) Password Protected PDF file and 3) Hard copy.
Access: 1) The App is available for a $5 donation to Loma HSC. Simply click the Buy App button to order. Once your App order has been processed, a confirmation email with a access link will be sent to you.
2) While the PDF file is available for free, it is password protected. The password ensures that the file, and the data in it, is only made available to Loma & CTE parents. Please email Azadeh Nolan for the password (azzalu@yahoo.com)and click on the directory image to your left.
3) The Hard copies are $10 each. You can order the hard copy or any of these other formats using the order form sent out in the Wednesday packet or by contacting Azadeh Nolan at the email above directly.

This year we are focused on getting "bite-size commitments" from many volunteers so that each will only need to commit about one hour per event. Of course, anyone who wants to broaden their involvement is more than welcome!
Volunteering should be fun, and we all know that many hands makes light work, so we are hopeful that this approach will be successful. Those who wish to volunteer should contact Laura Parker at lauraparker3@me.com.
Later in the year there will be a dance, bowling night, movie nights, Bingo nights, the jogathon, Fun Day, and other great opportunities for parents to make "bite-size" commitments to their school community.
Check out the 2011-12 calendar of activities by clicking on the link to the left for more specific information on dates and times.
